Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment announced the expansion of its leadership team with the addition of Matt Duggan as vice president of sales and business development. Most recently, Duggan was with Edson Marine in New Bedford, Mass., where he worked with OEM and retail customers as the sales director for power and sail.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Matt to the team,” company president Alex Kavanaugh said in a statement. “We’re confident that his industry experience, along with his lifelong passion for boating, will further Brownell’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Matt’s expertise is sure to help expand the company’s reach and recognition across the U.S.”
Duggan also was the regatta director at Sail Newport in Newport, R.I. At Brownell, he will serve existing clients while spearheading initiatives to drive brand awareness and build future relationships, the statement said.
