Brunswick Corp. named Brad Zoelle general manager of Mercury Canada. Zoelle replaces Georges Jalbert, who retired.
Zoelle spent five years at Brunswick’s Sea Ray and played a major role in the design of the SLX-R 400e — with the Fathom e-Power system that includes a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack — as well as its launch earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show.
Zoelle will be responsible for all of Mercury’s business in Canada, including propulsion and P&A, as well as strengthening Mercury’s relationship with its Canadian dealer base, according to Brunswick.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to lead Mercury’s Canadian business,” Zoelle told Trade Only Today. “Canada is an incredible boating and fishing market, and Mercury has a very strong heritage and brand reputation in the country. I’m looking forward to meeting all of our partners, employees and continuing the success Mercury has had in Canada
