Brunswick Corp. named Dean Harris president of Auckland, New Zealand-based Rayglass Boats. He assumes the role Oct. 1.
Harris started with Brunswick in 2002 and spent the last 16 years as regional manager for Mercury Marine in New Zealand. Prior to that he was a national sales manager for MAC boats. At Brunswick, Harris worked with Mercury, Boston Whaler, Navico Group and the company’s brands in the Asia Pacific region.
“Dean’s promotion to president of Rayglass speaks to the level of talent we are fortunate to foster and the growth opportunities across the Brunswick enterprise,” Boston Whaler president Lenn Scholz said in a statement. “I know Dean’s extensive product development and direct-to-consumer experience will propel Rayglass into the next era of growth and innovation.”
