PHOTO COURTESY KINGFISHERBritish Columbia-based Bryton Marine Group, a builder of welded-aluminum boats, announced the promotions of Brad Armstrong to chief financial officer and Baxter Bolton to president of its KingFisher subsidiary.
Previously president of KingFisher, Armstrong is a chartered professional accountant with more than 30 years of financial management experience. During his tenure with Bryton, he played a role in the acquisition of four companies.
Bolton was promoted from vice president of sales and product for KingFisher. He has previous experience at Telwater, an aluminum builder in Australia.
“Baxter is well-suited to take on his new role,” Armstrong said in a statement. “He has shown strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset, and he has built strong relationships with the team. I have no doubt that under his leadership, KingFisher will continue to thrive and innovate.”
Bolton will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of KingFisher, with a focus on protecting the brand’s position in the market and expanding into new territories. He also will spearhead efforts to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
