The California Boating Congress will return to in-person attendance in 2022 after two years of pandemic-related cancellations.
The Marine Recreation Association scheduled this year’s in-person event for April 18-19 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sacramento. The sessions will amplify the importance of the marine industry and recreational boating in the Golden State, according to an announcement yesterday by the National Marine Manufacturers Association, which is a cosponsor.
Throughout its history, the congress has improved familiarity and communication among boaters, the marine industry, state legislators and regulators. This year, the discussions will focus on vital issues including boater access, drought impacts, infrastructure needs, public funding, emissions regulation and implementation of 365-day fishing licenses.
Interactive hybrid events will be offered on the second day of the gathering.
