Canada Metal Pacific Limited said Michael Szwez was named global marketing director and general counsel for the Canada Metals Pacific Group.
Szwez, formerly director of sales and general counsel for Woodbridge, Ontario- based Dock Edge, assumes responsibility for the planning and implementation of the global marine and industrial marketing strategy for the CMP Group suite of products, including Dock Edge, Martyr Anodes, Titan Marine Products, Rocna Anchors, Octopus Autopilots, Intellisteer Remote Steering Systems and Legend Products.
The company said Szwez also will oversee legal, compliance and regulatory concerns for each of the company’s brands.
Canada Metal Pacific Limited, of Delta, British Columbia, and Dock Edge said last September that the companies had formed a strategic alliance designed to leverage synergies to provide both firms with improved access to the market.
