Catamaran Gurus announced that it is expanding its regional advisory network through new partnerships with Virgin Island Yacht Brokers and West Coast Multihulls, establishing dedicated representation throughout the British Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Martin, St. Croix and Grenada, as well as San Diego and Marina del Rey, Calif. Rather than pursuing a traditional dealership model, the company said it is building a network of regional advisors backed by technical knowledge and manufacturer relationships.

Steve Varrow, founder of Virgin Island Yacht Brokers, will lead operations across the BVI, USVI, St. Martin, St. Croix and Grenada.

“The Caribbean is where many owners truly experience the lifestyle they envisioned when they purchased their boat,” Stephen Cockcroft, chairman and co-founder of Catamaran Gurus, said in a statement. “Having experienced professionals on the ground allows us to provide a level of support that simply isn’t possible from thousands of miles away.”

Catamaran Gurus enters the Southern California market through West Coast Multihulls. Earlier this year, Catana Group — manufacturer of Catana and Bali sailing catamarans and YOT power cats — acquired a minority ownership interest in Catamaran Gurus.

The company is the exclusive North American dealer for Catana, Bali, GranOcean and YOT, and operates from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Annapolis, Md., and an expanding network of regional partners across North America and the Caribbean.
