Sailing and power catamaran builder Catana Group announced that it selected Catamaran Guru as the exclusive distributor for YOT Power Catamarans in North America. YOT Catamarans launched in 2023 at the Cannes Yachting Festival in France and currently produces two models: one at 36 feet and the other 41 feet long.
“We are excited to appoint Catamaran Guru as our exclusive representatives for YOT Power Catamarans in North America,” Catana Group commercial director Boris Compagnon said in a statement. “Their significant role in establishing the Bali brand as a top choice among cruising and charter communities gives us great confidence in their ability to introduce YOT to new markets.”
Catamaran Guru has represented Catana Group since 2021, with sales offices in Annapolis, Md., Kemah, Tex., and a brokerage and corporate office in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Dan Lockyer, CEO of Catamaran Guru, said in the statement: “We are delighted to further our partnership with the Catana Group and represent their exciting new range of Powercats in this key market. Catana have invested heavily and wisely in the development and production of these models.”
