Diesel outboard manufacturer Cox Marine today announced that it is expanding its partnership with Doha-based Gulf Yachts. The agreement adds Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to Gulf Yachts’ existing territories in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Lebanon.
“We are delighted that Gulf Yachts has signed a strategic alliance with Cox Marine as an exclusive distributor for Cox engines in the UAE and Bahrain, in addition to Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Lebanon, Gulf Yachts CEO Ghassan Al Binali said in a statement. “The Cox outboard diesel engine is successfully proving its superior performance, reliability and safety in the Arabian Gulf waters.”
Cox Marine produces the CXO300, a 300-hp diesel outboard that primarily serves the commercial maritime market and as power for megayacht tenders.
