The DAME Design Awards announced the short list of 67 nominated products from a record 146 entries. The annual awards, funded and hosted by Metstrade, promote design in all disciplines and recognize the best-designed products at the conference. Winners will be announced on the first day of the show, which runs Nov. 18-20.
“It’s an incredible endorsement of the reputation and influence of the DAME Design Awards that it should attract such a high number of entries in its 34th year,” Tessa Meijer, Metstrade exhibition program manager, said in a statement. “Ever since its foundation in 1991, Metstrade has invested heavily in this initiative. The DAME serves as a vital focal point encouraging the marine leisure and superyacht sectors to keep pace with the wider world in terms of design, innovation and technology.”
