Fort Lauderdale-based David Walters Yachts has expanded to Annapolis, Md., after merging with RogueWave Yacht Sales.
David Walters Yachts said RogueWave Yacht Sales has sold more than 800 boats valued at more than $125 million and ranks 14th in the country for total sailboats sold and total sales volume.
Now the boutique brokerage is joining forces with its longtime industry partners at David Walters Yachts, a Florida-based brokerage equally well known in the sailing community.
David Walters Yachts was founded by David Walters, co-founder of Shannon and designer and owner of Cambria. It has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Naples, Fla., Newport, R.I., Annapolis, Md., and soon will add Santa Barbara, Calif.
Bernie Jakits and Kate Christensen of RogueWave Yacht Sales will continue to operate the Annapolis location.
