Following MRAA’s opening ceremony and keynote address by Ryan Estis, the second day of Dealer Week kicked off with a vibrant Expo Hall hosting more than 780 dealers. The inaugural day of the event included three hours of educational sessions and ample networking opportunities.
The educational sessions were structured around three main pathways: Sales & Marketing, Leadership and Service & Parts. Covering a diverse array of topics, speakers delved into such subjects as Selling Value and Experience in the New Economy, How to Address Breakdowns in Dealership Communication, and Implementing Action Leadership in Your Service and Parts Departments.
Led by experts with varied backgrounds, expertise and experiences from different industries, the sessions were designed to assist dealerships in recalibrating for the new year. Speakers included keynote speaker Ryan Estis; Marcus Sheridan, owner of IMPACT, a digital sales and marketing agency; automotive industry expert Jim Million; author Kurt Von Ahen from Manana No Mas! WordPress Agency; John Spader, president of Spader Business Management; and Valerie Ziebron, founder of VRZ Consulting.
After the educational sessions, participants gathered for a networking reception in the Expo Hall. Many took the opportunity to reflect on the insights gained and consider the practical implementations of what they had learned upon their return to their respective businesses.
The day concluded with a BoatPAC reception at Jackson’s Bistro. BoatPAC actively supports government officials advocating for the marine business and boating access across the country. The boating caucus, consisting of senators and congressmen from both parties, plays a pivotal role in supporting our industry and ensuring continued enjoyment of the water by the boating public.
