Wireless remote-control manufacturer Dockmate announced the appointments of Spencer Coveney as product specialist and Josh Taylor as business development manager. The appointments follow a period of rapid growth for the company, according to a statement.
“At Dockmate, we’re tackling one of boating’s biggest pain points, the stress and risk of docking in tight quarters,” CEO Marc Curreri said in the statement. “I am confident that Spencer and Josh’s passion, commitment and experience will be integral in growing our sales efforts.”
Coveney has three years of sales experience and has a lifelong passion for boating. He will be responsible for lead management, performance analysis and process optimization.
As business development manager, Taylor will expand and strengthen the dealer network. Before joining Dockmate, he spent more than 35 years in marine electronics and satellite communications, as a U.S. Navy technician and in the private sector as a former business owner.
