The Electric WaterCraft Forum announced that Phil Coupe, co-founder of ReVision Energy, will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural event, scheduled for Oct. 22-23 at Lyman-Morse in Camden, Maine. Coupe’s keynote address is titled “Electric Watercraft Are Accelerating the Electrotech Revolution.”

“[Coupe] is a natural choice for our forum,” EWCF co-founder Kate Holden said in a press release. “As an entrepreneur of social impact, his work around electrification is truly inspiring. ReVision Energy converted to a 100% employee-owned company in 2017 and is currently the No. 1 solar company in New England and No. 5 nationally. Phil’s thoughts on how marine electrification fits in the electrotech revolution will be a welcome perspective.”

With a program of five case study panel discussions, electric boat displays and in-water demos, the forum is designed as an exchange for boating industry professionals. The mission is to build community, create conversation and help secure Maine’s position as a leader in the emerging electric watercraft sector.

The forum schedule is now available along with details about the presentations.
