PHOTO COURTESY EPROPULSIONElectric propulsion manufacturer ePropulsion this week announced that it is partnering with Vision Marine Technologies to power Vision’s boats for the rental and other markets.
Vision Marine Technologies’ recently introduced rotomolded Phantom is powered by ePropulsion’s 6-kW Navy 6.0 Evo outboard. The new ePropulsion X Series outboards will also be available on the Phantom, as well as the fiberglass Volt sister model.
“EPropulsion emerges as the ideal partner with their extensive expertise in electric propulsion,” Vision CEO Alexandre Mongeon said in a statement. “Vision Marine now presents a tested and dependable solution, seamlessly integrated into the Phantom and ensuring outstanding performance. With a low-voltage system powering a fully plastic boat, this offers an effortless and efficient solution for our clientele.”
Both ePropulsion and Vision Marine Technologies are exhibiting at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference in Tampa, Fla., Oct. 1-3.
