
Evoy, a Norwegian company that builds electric boat motors, has partnered with battery manufacturer Microvast Holdings of Stafford, Tex. Under the partnerships, Evoy will integrate Microvast MV-I battery packs into its boats.
Microvast says the MV-I is a line of self-contained battery packs with an integrated cooling plate and energy density ratings of up to 180 Wh/kg. Evoy produces electric boat motors rated at up to 400 hp.
