Evoy Vita is partnering with Finnish boatbuilder Axopar to introduce Evoy electric outboards to the U.S. recreational boating market. The Evoy Storm 300-hp outboard will be available on Axopar’s AX/E line next year.
“The introduction of the AX/E line complements our growing success in the commercial segment,” Tanguy de Lamotte, who is heading up U.S. operations for Evoy Vita, said in a statement. “The demand for the Vita Seal, especially in California, underscores the versatility and effectiveness of electric boats in tackling environmental challenges while serving commercial operators’ needs. We are committed to leading the charge in both recreational and commercial markets.”
In addition to Axopar, the Evoy Storm will also be available to other U.S. boatbuilders, the statement said.
