Numarine, the Istanbul, Turkey-based shipyard, is bolstering its sales and marketing team with two recent appointments.
Longtime employee Ali Tanir was named head of international sales. Tanir joined Numarine in 2012 and has held various positions within the company. Prior to joining Numarine, he was with the Istanbul Offshore Club, Vicem Yachts, Yuka Yacht and the UIM Class 1 Powerboating series.
The builder also hired Ugur Sahin as domestic sales manager to focus on clients within Turkey. A new addition to the company, Sahin joins Numarine after 14 years with yacht broker Karina Marine Group.
Last month, the company delivered the 14th hull of the 85-foot, 26XP Explorer Yacht, a feat accomplished in just three years.
“We never stop developing the company and the way we work”, said founder and chairman Omer Malaz in a statement. “I’m happy with how our order book fills up and I’m sure that, with our new structure of the sales department, we have potential for even better results. I’d like to wish Ali and Ugur all the best in their new positions.”
