Flux Marine announced a partnership with Zodiac Nautic. Zodiac Nautic will launch its first electric RIB, the Medline 6.8, with Flux Marine’s 115-hp electric outboard and battery system.
“With more than a century of innovation behind us, Zodiac Nautic is excited to join Flux Marine as we lead the way into the electrified future of marine propulsion,” Zodiac Nautic COO Tim March II said in a statement. “Our vessels have pioneered new ways to explore and enjoy the oceans, and this collaboration continues that legacy with sustainable, quiet power for the next generation of boating.”
Added Flux CEO Ben Sorkin: “Our partnership with Zodiac reinforces our mission to bring electric boating to the masses through leading OEM boatbuilders, and we couldn’t be more excited to launch this partnership with the Zodiac team.”
The Medline 6.8 is on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs Oct. 29- Nov. 2.
