Italy-based Forte Yachts announced that its models will feature Florida-based Genesis interiors and that the brand will be represented in the U.S. by Genesis Yachts. The partnership grants U.S. Forte customers access to sales and warranty support from Genesis in Fort Lauderdale.
“We have been firmly implanted on U.S. soil since 1997, producing the world’s finest yacht interiors from our ateliers in Fort Lauderdale and in Viareggio, Italy,” Giacomo Lombardi, general manager of Genesis and U.S. sales manager of Forte Yachts, said in a statement. “As we worked together on the interior production for the Forte 47, we experienced a rare degree of understanding and goodwill between our two brands. It was an easy decision to take on the representation of Forte Yachts in the U.S.”
The Forte 47, the company’s first model, is designed for outboard propulsion and is “nearing completion in Italy.”
