Freedom Boat Club acquired Fanautic Club in 2021, and its four locations in Spain now have transitioned to the Freedom brand. Three of the locations are in the Málaga province in El Candado, Caleta de Vélez and Benalmádena, and the fourth is in Mataró, Barcelona.
“Spain has proven to be an exceptional boating market for us to grow the Freedom brand,” Arturro Gutierrez, general manager, Freedom Boat Club EMEA, said in a statement. “We’re grateful for our amazing franchise partners in the region who have been instrumental in building brand affinity and exposing broader audiences to our … shared access model.”
Spain is the largest FBC territory in the region, with 27 club locations.
