Freedom Boat Club today announced that it will open its newest Australia location at Kalevu Marina on the Georges River. The club is scheduled to be operational in July 2026.
“Demand for flexible and accessible boating experiences in Australia continues to outpace expectations,” David Kurczewski, FBC general manager, Asia-Pacific, said in a statement. “The Sydney South club will deliver an exceptional on-water lifestyle for our members, perfectly positioned for exploring some of the most beautiful waters and best fishing in New South Wales.”
The Sydney South franchise is independently owned and operated by Klaus Hahn, a business leader who has a background in engineering, corporate strategy and organizational development.
“With Freedom Boat Club Sydney South, we’re creating a seamless, world-class boating experience that fits perfectly into the lifestyle of the Sutherland Shire,” Hahn said in the statement. “Our location at Kalevu Marina offers easy access to incredible waterways and a welcoming club community where members can connect, explore and enjoy life on the water.”
