Freedom Boat Club announced that it plans to open operations at Bobbin Head, Pittwater and Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. The locations join the existing Freedom Boat Club on Sydney Harbor.
The new clubs will be led by Darren Vaux, managing director of Empire Marinas Group, president of ICOMIA and previous president of the Boating Industry Association of Australia, and Nicky Vaux, director of the Marina Industries Association.
“We are confident in Darren and Nicky’s ability to expand marine participation in this market with their clear passion for the on-water lifestyle and commitment to delivering impeccable service,” David Kurczewski, general manager, shared services Asia-Pacific, said in a statement.
The new clubs are expected to open in July.
