Jacksonville, Fla.-based center console builder Front Runner Boatworks announced this week that it hired Jimmy Thompson as national sales director.
Thompson’s experience includes working as a mate on a private sportfishing yacht, working in dealership sales and management, and serving as a purchasing agent for a boat wholesaler.
“As our brand has grown and evolved, we needed the right talent to help manage its growth,” Front Runner co-owner Mark Lacovara said in a statement. “We were introduced to Jimmy in years past, and as our brand matured, we felt that his talent and experience was something we could benefit from.”
“We welcome Jimmy to the Front Runner family and look forward to the future with him as a vital part of the team,” he added.
