Gig Harbor Boat Works has opened a new headquarters in Gig Harbor, Wash. The 12,500-square-foot facility will include production, lamination, final assembly and office spaces.
The builder’s original facility will become a showroom and delivery center. Gig Harbor builds traditional rowing boats and sailboats from 8 to 17 feet I fiberglass.
“With our production team working together in one location, we can build boats more efficiently without compromising the quality and attention to detail we are known for,” production manager Falk Brock said in a statement.
The company added that it expanded its marketing team. Laura Hammond is the marketing manager, and Arnie Hammerman of Brand Builder Media will handle public relations, media buying and other marketing functions.
