Global Ocean Security Technologies, or GOST, announced several personnel role expansions intended to strengthen the company’s operational capabilities, customer support, technical expertise and marketing initiatives.
Danny Ashmore was promoted to operations manager, where he will oversee daily operations, sales and technical support, purchasing, RMA processing, and overall customer service. Ashmore joined GOST in August 2010 after work with Ares Marine Custom Yachts and Servowatch.
“Over the past 15 years, Danny has proven himself as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted members of our company,” president and CEO Brian Kane said in a press release. “His technical expertise, operational leadership and commitment to customer satisfaction make him uniquely qualified to oversee these critical areas of our business.”
GOST also expanded the responsibilities of Joshua Gorman. Gorman joined the company in 2025 and now leads technical operations, including product assembly, programming, shipping and technical preparation of GOST systems. Gorman previously worked as a technician for NCH Marine and gained electronics experience at Dockmate.
“Joshua has quickly become a valuable contributor to our operations team,” Kane said. “His hands-on experience, can-do attitude and technical aptitude help ensure that each and every GOST product meets our quality standards before reaching customers.”
Rebecca Lancashire has taken on oversight of all GOST activations of tracking, video and security systems in addition to managing marketing initiatives, including customer engagement programs, event activations, trade show initiatives and dealer outreach.
“Rebecca has played a crucial part in elevating our marketing efforts over the last year, and her attitude in taking on the crucial task of activating our systems is taking GOST to new heights,” Kane said.
He added that the expanded roles reflect confidence in the team as GOST continues to grow its presence in the recreational and commercial sectors.
