Marine biologist Dr. Greg Skomal will speak on the topic “Seeing Deeper Into the World of Great White Sharks” on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at The Old Whaling Church on Main Street in Edgartown, Mass., on Martha’s Vineyard.

Skomal is with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries and he is leading a long-term research program studying the ecology and natural history of great white sharks.

With more than 100 great white sharks now tagged with sophisticated technology, Skomal and his team are piecing together the story of how the shark lives in the North Atlantic.

A suggested donation of $20 a person will benefit the North Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.
