Groupe Beneteau reported first quarter revenues of €169.5 million ($180 million), an increase of 30% year-over-year. Retail sales grew 10% in the quarter, “confirming the success of the models launched in 2025,” according to an earnings statement. Groupe Beneteau said it plans to launch 24 new models this year.
“The first-quarter growth validates our strategy to promote innovation and accelerate launches of new models, which the group aims to continue moving forward with at the same sustained pace this year,” CEO Bruno Thivoyon said in the statement. “The increase in retail sales over the period reflects the success of the new models from 2025 with end clients in a challenging macroeconomic environment.
“Despite the marked slowdown in order intake since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East, our order book is still at a solid level, enabling us to maintain the full-year outlook, subject to an improvement in the geopolitical situation by the end of the first half of this year,” he said.
Retail sales to end clients improved more than €20 million ($22 million) compared with the prior-year quarter, with an increase of over 10%, driven primarily by the powerboat business.
Revenues for the sailing business increased 18.6% at constant currency in the first quarter. The €10 million ($11 million) increase in sales was balanced across monohulls and multihulls, which both benefited from the success of the models launched in 2025, as well as the upturn in sales to charter professionals.
The powerboat business recorded growth of 47.6% at constant currency.
At the Multihull Show in La Grande-Motte in April, Groupe Beneteau announced the creation of E-Lektra Marine, a joint venture with Fountaine Pajot aimed at standardizing alternative propulsion and on-board, energy-management solutions for sailboats. The alliance brings together seven international monohull and multihull brands, representing nearly 60% of the market, the statement said.
