HanseYachts closed the second quarter of fiscal year 2023-24 with record figures, as turnover for the first half of the year increased 22.7% to $102.5 million, which matched company forecasts. EBITDA increased to $7.4 million, and preliminary consolidated earnings for the half-year were $3.16 million.

“This is by far the best first half-year since 2008, and the positive development of our figures has further stabilized,” CEO Hanjo Runde said in a statement. “The consistent implementation of our corporate strategy shows sustainable success, especially thanks to the contribution of our employees.”

For the balance of the year, Hanse expects sales of $196 million to $217.6 million, EBITDA in the mid- to upper single-digit million range, and consolidated net income in the low single-digit million range.

“The new launches in the current calendar year — including the Moody DS48, the upcoming Hanse models360 and 590, as well as the upcoming Fjord 480 — will ensure continued successful business development,” COO Stefan Zimmermann added.
