Hanse Yachts this morning announced the financial results for the nine months from January through September.
Revenue amounted to €105 million ($120.9 million), and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization totaled €4.9 million ($5.64 million). Consolidated profit totaled €19.2 million ($22.1 million), which was influenced by restructuring effects.
“We are currently seeing very positive development across all brands,” CEO Hanjo Runde said in a statement. “The market is rewarding our clear strategic direction and the innovative strength of our new models. It is particularly gratifying that, after a short consolidation phase, all our plants are once again operating at full capacity.”
According to the statement, sales of the new Fjord 490 Open, Fjord 490 Sport and Hanse 590 contributed to the bottom line.
“The new models represent what Hanse Yachts stands for: quality, design and passion for sailing and motoryachting,” Andreas Müller, who acquired the company in July, added in the statement. “The market’s enthusiastic response to these models is a strong signal for the future of our company.”
