Highfield Boats, a manufacturer of rigid hull inflatable boats, yesterday announced that it is partnering with Carefree Boat Club to bring the Highfield Sport 560, 660 and 760 models to their fleets.

Highfield claims to have 28% of the RIB market share in North America and plans to expand its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. The collaboration with Carefree is expected to accelerate the adoption of RIBs in the U.S. and Canada.

“Carefree Boat Club members can now ‘Dare to Explore’ in a Highfield RIB, as a part of a broader fleet that includes day cruisers, center consoles, pontoons and deck boats,” Christophe Lavigne, president at Highfield Boats USA, said in a statement. “Highfield’s innovative designs and commitment to quality, combined with Carefree Boat Club’s extensive reach and expertise, promise to deliver an exciting new chapter for boating enthusiasts across North America.”

Carefree Boat Club has more than 145 locations throughout North America.

Carefree Boat Club’s Travis Zielasko said the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering boating experiences. “Our goal is to help our members create lasting memories on the water with family and friends,” he said in the statement. “The introduction of our Highfield RIBs enhances our fleet with a safe, exciting, and reliable new option for our members to enjoy boating without the hassles of boat ownership.”
