Has the pandemic changed the marine industry forever, or is the boat buying frenzy a blip? The National Marine Manufacturers Association is asking stakeholders from every sector to to gauge the short- and long-term effects of the pandemic.
In an effort to provide comprehensive data in real time, the NMMA is asking dealers, manufacturers, marina operators and service providers to take a survey to determine how business has changed over the past three months, and how they think it will continue to change moving forward.
The anonymous, multiple-choice questionnaire asks businesses about topics including whether they’re open, how they’re functioning, what standards have been put into place, employees (layoffs, furloughs, hiring), pricing and costs, and profit loss or gain projections.
The NMMA has also been surveying member CEOs to get a clearer picture of the marine manufacturing landscape and hopes to combine the findings into a comprehensive snapshot of where the industry stands during an unprecedented time.
Trade Only Today is partnering with NMMA to help distribute the survey, as well as provide coverage of the report that NMMA will issue after gathering and compiling all of the data and feedback.
