The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference announced the addition of three staff members to support continued growth of its event, education and year-round engagement initiatives. The new hires are intended to strengthen sales, content and marketing capabilities.
“These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to investing in the future of IBEX and the industry we serve,” show director Mary Velline said in a statement. “Each of these new team members brings a unique blend of expertise, creativity and industry knowledge that will help us enhance the value we provide exhibitors, attendees, sponsors and partners throughout the year.”
April Bruffy-Metzger joined IBEX as experiential and digital sales manager. She has 25 years of experience in media, sponsorship and exhibit sales, and will focus on experiential activations, sponsorship opportunities, digital products and IBEX 365 initiatives.
Dana Howe was named education and content manager, overseeing development of the IBEX Education Conference and helping expand the year-round content strategy.
Madison Ambrose was named marketing specialist. She will support social media engagement, email marketing, exhibitor and attendee communications, and initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of and attendance at the show.
IBEX is scheduled for Oct. 6-8 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Fla.
