Organizers of the annual ICOMIA World Marinas Conference this week announced that registration for the three-day event is open, and that all speakers for the event have been confirmed.
Scheduled for Oct. 9-11 at the Tivoli Vilamoura Conference Center in Portugal, the event is hosted by the Portuguese Association of Ports and Marinas and supported by industry stakeholders Correct Craft, Lindley, Vilamoura World, D-Marin and Marketing Marina.
“We are very pleased to have been selected to host this prestigious event in Portugal,” Portuguese Association of Ports and Marinas president Isolete Carreira said in a statement. “We are absolutely delighted to bring together the greatest experts in the nautical industry, contributing to a process of exchange of information, ideas and collective learning.”
The keynote speaker for the conference is Bill Yeargin, CEO of Correct Craft. Other speakers will talk about marinas of the future, with a speech from Yiannis Kalogerakis on SMART futures and AI. There will also be a presentation on large-scale innovations from NEOM, as well as a marina tour.
