StanCraft, a Hayden, Idaho-based group of companies that includes StanCraft Wooden Boats, has partnered with a private investor to acquire Templin’s on the River, a marina and hotel complex on the Spokane River in Post Falls, Idaho.
The hotel will be upgraded throughout this year and 2025, with more amenities, landscaping, lighting and guest room enhancements.
“We are excited to bring StanCraft back to Post Falls and provide a top-notch, enhanced hotel and marina experience to our community,” StanCraft CEO Robb Bloem said in a statement. “With several great, longstanding Post Falls businesses right nearby, this is an ideal place for visitors to experience north Idaho and take in the beauty of the river.”
Marina 33 Post Falls, a StanCraft company, will oversee marina operations, with phased upgrades planned for the fuel system, and food and beverage stand. Upgrades to existing structures have already begun.
Templin’s will operate under a new hotel management agreement, and property oversight will be provided by Harry Sladich, former COO of Red Lion Hotels Corp.
StanCraft was founded in 1933 as a builder of mahogany boats and has grown to include StanCraft Marine Construction, StanCraft Construction Group and the StanCraft Jet Center.
