MarineMax yesterday announced that its IGY Marinas subsidiary was appointed operator for Wynn Al Marjan Island Marina in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It is IGY’s second marina in the Middle East.
Wynn Resorts has tasked IGY Marinas with advising on the marina’s design and development, offering preopening services and post-opening management and marketing services.
“Our involvement in the Wynn Al Marjan Island project represents a significant milestone for IGY Marinas,” IGY chief executive Steve English said in a statement. “We are excited to build on our existing presence in marina management in the Middle East and contribute to the creation of a world-class destination for yachting and gaming enthusiasts.”
The marina basin will provide 101 berths for boats and yachts to 85 meters. An integrated resort, will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, as well as a host of entertainment and leisure amenities.
