The following students received $5,000 scholarships and free attendance to NMEA’s basic installer certification training classes:
• Charles Horton, The Landing School, Arundel, Maine
• Andrew Vogel, Suncoast Technical College, Sarasota, Fla.
• Adrienne Wilber, Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building, Port Hadlock, Wash.
• Thomas Haagensen, Juston Smith and Julie Cappelli, Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon, Wash.
“IMEA sincerely thanks our donors who have contributed to the second year of the IMEA scholarship program,” IMEA board chairman John Barry said in a statement. “We encourage others in the marine electronics industry to step forward and financially support this program.”
