Certified marina manager Brad St. Coeur will host and facilitate the International Marina Institute’s seventh annual Southeast Florida Marina and Boatyard Study Tour, which runs Oct. 29–30.

The study tour is produced by the IMI, a subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries.

The study tour, based out of the B Ocean hotel in Fort Lauderdale, is a two-day mobile training course that takes participants on exclusive tours of marinas to provide an in-depth look at the operations of different types of facilities in South Florida. At the end of each day, attendees participate in a facilitated roundtable discussion and SWOT (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis of each marina before heading to a networking dinner.

“As a marina manager at Sunrise [Harbor] Marina in Fort Lauderdale, Brad St. Coeur, CMM, has firsthand knowledge of the business of running a marina in South Florida,” AMI chairman Gary Groenewold said in a statement. “The fact that he’s a certified marina manager allows him to share insider and professional knowledge about the area with study tour participants.”

Sunrise Harbor Marina is a former IMI study tour destination and was named 2012 Marina of the Year by Marina Dock Age magazine.
