
Nicholas Andrew Huntley of Madison, Ala., who was the son of T-H Marine Supplies president and CEO Jeff Huntley, died May 20. He was 23.
Nicholas Huntley was a 2011 graduate of Bob Jones High School and a 2016 graduate of Auburn University. He was a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at Auburn.
“T-H Marine Supplies grieves for the death of Nicholas Huntley, 23-year-old son of T-H Marine President and CEO Jeff Huntley, grandson of Founder Bill Huntley and brother of General Manager Jeffery Huntley Jr.,” the company said in a statement.
“Nicholas was working on his final college internship at the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Miami, Fla. The Huntley family, well known with three generations in the fishing and boating industry, grieves the loss of this bright young man, whose future would include helping counsel troubled teens and adolescents and some day moving into the boating industry.”
Huntley was an avid outdoorsman and thrived on hunting, fishing, boating and Auburn football.
During early college he played on a professional paintball team, CEP Chattanooga. At college his focus was fraternity, friends and football, according to his obituary.
Survivors include his parents: Jeff and Kristal Huntley; two brothers: Jeff Huntley Jr. (Marie) and Matthew Huntley; grandparent: William Huntley (Pat); grandfather: Glenn Durham; grandmother: Peggy Powell; niece: Lilly Madeline Huntley; nephew: Jeffrey Huntley III; aunt: Jennifer Smith (Jimmy); uncle: Jon Durham; cousins Elizabeth Smith (Ryan), William Smith, and Luke Durham; and his best friend and beloved dog: Woody.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at Asbury Methodist Church in Madison, Ala., followed by a 3 p.m. service.
Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
