The National Marine Manufacturers announced the panel of judges who will evaluate product entries for its Innovation Awards program the Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show. The show is scheduled for Jan. 22-25 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The judging committee includes three members from Boating Writers International with expertise in product reviewing and equipment testing.
The judges include:
• Brady Kay (chair), executive editor of Pontoon & Deck Boat magazine.
• Robert Beringer, Florida-based freelance marine journalist photographer.
• Bill Gius, an industry veteran working in brand and product management at Mercury Marine, Kohler Company, Turning Point Propellers and iboats.com.
Sixteen companies have entered in the awards program. Winners will be announced Jan. 22.
