The Comitti fleet of runabouts and tenders, which ranges from 22 to 42 feet, is built in Lake Como, Italy.
Christopher and Chris Mackey, a father and son who have been in the luxury automobile business for 30 years, established Comitti North America.
“My father and I have extensive experience in bringing luxury, domestic and imported car brands to the U.S., and we recognized a unique opportunity to fill a niche in the North American market with Comitti Boats,” Chris Mackey said in a statement.
He added that Comitti boats are competitively priced with “other U.S. tier one boat manufacturers such as Chris-Craft and Cobalt.”
The Mackeys plan to limit production for the North American market to no more than 20 boats per year. Comitti is scheduled to make its North American debut at the Newport International Boat Show, Sept. 12-15.
