IYRS School of Technology & Trades announced that its annual Career Day is scheduled for Jan. 24. The event will take place in Restoration Hall at the IYRS campus in Newport, R.I.
Career Day is a hiring, networking and educational event that offers companies in the marine trades and modern manufacturing industries a venue to meet job seekers, who include IYRS students, alumni and members of the greater community.
“IYRS Career Day is a win-win opportunity for employers, our students and the community,” director of student services Jen Iacovelli said in a statement. “We have 40-plus companies with job opportunities from around the country that come to IYRS to recruit employees.”
