Lenco yesterday announced a partnership with Albemarle Boats that will have its Pro Control trim tabs installed on a range of the builder’s models. Albemarle now offers Pro Control on the 27DC, 36 Express, 41 Carolina Edition Express and the 45 Carolinian.
“Albemarle Boats has long been recognized as a leader in the offshore fishing market, and having Pro Control integrated into their newest models is a natural alignment,” Patrick Roberts, Navico Group performance solutions president, said in a statement. “By combining our advanced auto-leveling technology with Albemarle’s meticulously crafted designs … we’re confident their customers will experience an even higher level of stability and enjoyment on the water.”
According to Lenco, the Pro Control system incorporates a newly refined algorithm that delivers better control and faster response times, enabling near-instant trim adjustments in dynamic conditions and ensuring an optimized helm experience.
“We have a long history with Lenco as our trim tab provider due to reliability and customer service,” Albemarle director of sales and product development Keith Privott said in the statement. “The Pro Control system takes performance a step further. It has allowed us to integrate automatic tabs into newer designs but also allows us to retrofit older models and existing boats in the field with newer technology for improved handling.”
