Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Lewis Marine Supply acquired Glennmar Supply in Largo, Fla.
Established in 1971, Glennmar provides wholesale marine parts throughout the west coast of Florida. The acquisition gives Lewis a greater presence in that part of the state.
“Adding Glennmar to Lewis Marine Supply gives us a base of operations to support our customers with an outstanding team,” Chelsea Beyer, president of Lewis Marine Supply, said in a statement. “Having a location in the Tampa market will increase our reach for same and next-day delivery beyond our current routes.”
Since new owners took over in March 2019, Lewis Marine Supply also acquired Jerry’s Marine Service.
