Limestone Boat Co. to Restructure

The builder of Limestone, Aquasport and Boca Bay boats is pursuing liquidity and financing options to continue long-term operations.

Limestone Boat Co. of Collingwood, Ontario, provided a notice of default under its trust indenture between the builder and TSX Trust Company. The notification followed Limestone’s failure to make an interest payment due under the indenture agreement on Jan. 3, the company said in a statement.

Trade Only Today spoke to a Limestone representative Jan. 17, who said he had no additional comments and that details would be forthcoming.

Limestone, which also builds Aquasport and Boca Bay boats, said, the “company continues to pursue alternative liquidity and financing proposals, including financial restructuring initiatives, and remains committed to continuing its long-term operations as soon as possible.”
