Windlass manufacturer Lofrans today announced that it relocated its manufacturing facilities from Monza, Italy, to Cambiago.
“This is one of the most significant changes in Lofrans’ 60-year history,” technical manager George Papoutsis said in a statement. “Our new facilities embody the renewal and ambition of the brand, ready to inspire both partners and enthusiasts alike.”
According to the statement, the relocation boosts efficiency, technological advancement and operational excellence, reflecting the company’s vision for the future. Also, the new facilities significantly increase daily capacity.
“When we acquired the company in 2012, we made a clear commitment to respect the Lofrans name, its heritage, its people and its long-standing partners,” Lofrans CEO Stavros Lalizas said in the statement. “That commitment was not only to preserve the past, but to build upon it. Over the years, we have not only honored the company’s legacy, we have strengthened it, evolved it and positioned it for the future.”
