Mack Boring and Parts Co. yesterday signed a distribution agreement with Smartgyro to bring its gyrostabilizer products to the U.S. market. Smartgyro is part of the Yanmar Recreational Marine Business Unit.
“We are very excited to introduce Smartgyro stabilization technology to our customers,” Scott DuBrow, director, sales and marketing, Mack Boring & Parts Co. said in a statement. “We are continually looking for new and innovative products to complement our current power and propulsion product offerings and are excited to bring Smartgyro to the U.S. market. Many of our customers are very familiar with stabilization products and we are confident that the Smartgyro product will provide great value for customers looking to make their experience on the water more comfortable.”
Mack Boring distributes to 19 states along the east coast and in the midwestern U.S. plus Washington D.C., and Bermuda. Smartgyro’s six stabilizer models (SG20, SG40, SG60, SG80, SG120 and SG150) provide roll reduction for boats ranging from 30 to more than 80 feet.
