Outdoor products manufacturer Magma announced the appointment of Billy McFadden as president. Chris de Recat, who was president for six years, transitions to board chairman, remaining actively involved in shaping Magma’s strategic priorities and supporting leadership.
“Magma is well-positioned for its next phase, and Billy’s leadership experience and values make him an excellent fit for where the business is headed,” de Recat said in a statement. “We are fully aligned on strategy and execution, and I look forward to supporting him as board chairman.”
McFadden has experience in consumer brand leadership and go-to-market execution. His background includes senior leadership roles with Solo Stove, Aquasana and Cuisinart, as well as early career experience as a manufacturer’s representative — a foundation that Magma said closely aligns with its customer-first operating model.
