Marinas.com announced the recipients of its Boaters’ Choice Awards, honoring marinas that boaters most praised throughout the year.
The 2019 recipients represent a range of marina businesses, from private yacht clubs to public service yards, and locations, from the West Coast to Marinas.com’s base of Newport, R.I.
The marinas were chosen based on the number of reviews and average star-ratings on Marinas.com.

Marinas with at least five reviews in 2019 and an average rating of at least four stars received the accolade. This year, 249 businesses were honored, up 5 percent from 2018, according to Dockwa.
Last year, Marinas.com added an Elite Fleet tier to the awards for marinas that have at least 10 reviews and an average rating of at least 4.8-stars. This year, 54 businesses received the Elite Fleet status, up 157 percent from 2018.
