The board of directors of the Marine Electronics Journal named Ray Clark advertising sales director for the magazine. He replaces Bruce Cole, who is retiring after 28 years with the National Marine Electronics Association publication.
Clark assumes his new role at the NMEA Marine Electronics Conference and Expo, scheduled for Sept. 18-22 in Orlando, Fla.
“We are delighted to bring Ray Clark and his associate, Colin Swartz, aboard the MEJ team,” board chairman Ken Englert said in a statement. “Ray brings a wealth of experience both in the marine market and in print, digital and web media.”
Clark has more than 24 years of experience in the marine market and in magazine publishing. He has been an advertising representative for WoodenBoat and Professional BoatBuilder magazines since 1999, and is also director of sales for the International Marina and Boatyard Conference.
